Power Specs Summary

The 2011 model year line-up begins with the base Chevy Silverado 1500 offered in two engine configurations – the 5.3 liter Vortec V8, the 6.2 liter Vortec V8. The 1500 starts at only $20,850 with towing capacity up to 10,600 pounds!

If you want to step it up a notch to the Silverado 2500HD, you have a choice of the 360HP 6.0 liter Vortec gas engine or 6.6 liter Turbocharged Duramax Diesel.

Safety Features

The standard safety features of the 2011 Chevy Silverado are 6 standard airbags on the front seat sides and knee areas as well as full-length side curtain airbags.  It comes with anti-lock disc brakes, traction control and road stability control.  Automatic Crash Response automatically alerts On-Star in the event of an accident. A steel safety cage in addition to crush zones is designed to preserve the occupant space and protect the driver and passengers in the event of a frontal impact.

Luxury Interior

This is not your stereopypical boring truck interior. Chevrolet ups the anti with available heated leather seats, MP3 playback, XM Satellite Radio, driver lumbar support, 60/40 bench seats, and cruise control.
